Scope of Duties
- Responsible for the main commercial activities concerning existing and new business, the Account Manager is the main interface to VAG purchasing and vehicle platforms
- Support of offer & change requests from customers
- Compiling the relevant data to initiate internal change requests
- Coordination of necessary measures for the receipt of corresponding approvals
- Preparation and submission of offers to the purchasing department together with all necessary support documents, if necessary in coordination with other functions (engineering, quality, program management)
- Negotiation of offers and realization of business deals beyond the approved minimum requirements
- Collaborate with the legal department in the preparation of commercial, technical or service contracts
- Monitoring receivables and ensuring that payment targets are met
- Participate in PDT (Product Development Teams) meetings as a sales representative and follow up on specific sales related tasks during project development in coordination with other functions
- In addition, the Sales Manager assists in the development of sales plans/business plans
- Gather business-related information on customer contacts to support the development of product strategies
Your qualification
Education:
- University degree in the field of economics/technology
Technical requirements:
- Both engineering and commercial experience
- Product knowledge
General Qualifications:
- Fluent in written & spoken English
- Good communication skills
- Leadership

- Team player
- Flexibility
Experience:
- Experience in the automotive industry – min. 5-6 years
- Experience in working with Volkswagen AG
